Mending a relationship. Even though this requirement has lots of value, I find that often slips to the back of my brain.
Recently I spent some time with an old friend of mine. We used to be really close, and she was someone I had considered my best friend for many years. But life happens, and we drifted apart.
It was really nice to reconnect with her and spend time together. Even though there wasn't necessarily a conflict that resulted in our friendship ending, I would say this still counts as working towards mending a relationship. By spending time together, our relationship is in a better place then before. I think this is a good step.
Regardless, I am very happy I reached out to her. It was positive for both of us. Additionally I think this will help me be more mindful about other relationships I have. So I'm grateful for that!
