Instructing Opportunities

During the kids classes today, got to lead parts of the Tiny Tiger and level two Young Dragon classes. I enjoyed this! I am really liking all the opportunities I get leading / instructing. I think it helps me improve myself, as it forces me to articulate what I know. This helps me understand what I know on a deeper level.

While instructing I still fumble over my words a lot, but I think (or hope) I am getting better at it. I still have a lot to improve on, but I am happy I keep getting the opportunities to do so!!

Canada Day Demo

I have done so much lion dancing recently!! I have been really happy with this. I love lion dancing! I find it really fun trying to bring the lion to life. I am very thankful to be able to lion dance. 

Additionally, the other parts of the Canada Day demo were really fun too! It was super cool to see all the hard work put into the dragon dance. And of course watching everyone's forms is always fun. It's cool to see everyone progress. 

I am very grateful for the community that comes with Kung Fu. It's really nice, because it's such a positive environment to be immersed in. Everyone is there cheering each other on, and we're all striving together to become better versions of ourselves. It's awesome. I am glad I am a part!!
